Discussion Topics:
Professionally Painted Miniatures: We will discuss and debate what place, if any, professionally painted miniatures and armies have in the hobby. From pre painted miniatures games like AT-43 and Star Wars Miniatures to professional painting services and Ebay purchased armies, we will cover all aspects of this fascinating issue.
Pre-Painted Miniatures Games: Here we will focus on the various pre painted miniatures games themselves. How do they compare with the classic style miniatures games like Warhammer, 40k and Warmachine. Are they a way to get new people into our hobby or are they a distraction that only appeals to the lowest common denominator. We will have a lively discussion with supporters and detractors of this style of gaming.
Why do you Love your Favorite Game: All the hosts will discuss what their favorite miniatures wargame is and why. We will not try to decide which is better but only to determine what it is that makes each game stand out for each of our hosts.

Great podcast, can’t wait for the next one.
Love the different points of views.
Very cut and dry, I know it’s hard to moderate so many people but maybe try one or two things to make it lighter. Such as some rediculous questions to inspire some comedy.
again keep it up
Congratulations on the opening episode. A solid start.
I liked the roundtable discussion portions and it seemed to run fairly smoothly with everyone getting their POV in without it seeming like herding cats. It was also interesting listening to their various views on the topics of discussion. Held my interest.
I agree that a little more comedy would liven things up but finding the right balance can be tricky and may depend on the chemistry between the guests. That said, there were some funny moments — the nerd ladder and the comments about 14 year old boys and Dust.
Sound was pretty good overall with a few glitches and that pinging echo sound from time-to-time. It was not enough to detract from my enjoyment although sometimes it was hard hearing the Podhammer guy from Australia. That may have been a function of distance more than anything else.
The only other suggestion would be to shorten the news section up. That dragged a little (IMO) with everyone commenting on every news item. If you are going to use the roundtable format in the future you might want to hit on a few less news items for discussion.
An enjoyable first episode and I’m looking forward to more.
Keep up the good work.
I loved it.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback everyone! The comedy is something that I have a hard time with, im not a naturally funny guy but I will see if we can maybe add a short segment with a more light hearted topic and or question in the middle to lighten things up.
I was surprised by how long the news section went, more that so many people had comments on the news items so I will probably focus on fewer items to allow for the conversation to go naturally without having the show drag.
Again I cant thank everyone enough for the positive feedback, every comment helps us to make the show better going forward.
Good first show guys.
Can someone give the link to the DUST game please ?
Thanks Scalpel!
I am updating the show notes with all the links promised in the show right now. That was my error, each news items was supposed to link to the source info. Should be fixed in 1/2 hour but here is the dust link with some previews pics and the link to the main dust site.
